Proceeding Submission
You are encouraged to submit a short article to be included in the Proceedings Book for the 17th International Symposium on Plant Lipids.
Submission is only possible through the web site. No hard copies will be accepted. The Proceedings will be published online and a
print version will be made available following the meeting to those who have requested a copy during registration. John Ohlrogge and Christoph
Benning will serve as the editors. It is recommended that you not include data that you later plan to submit as a manuscript to a peer reviewed
Journal. The Proceedings will be considered an official publication and should be treated as such.
Style
It is recommended to give a brief overview of the area of research and a brief summary of data. Please follow in style the
enclosed sample. Only one RTF file should be submitted containing all text
and figures as shown in the sample. Length should be between 3 and 5 pages. Provide title, full names of all authors and their affiliation,
corresponding author contact email address, abstract, a brief introduction, a data summary subsection, conclusions or perspectives,
acknowledgements, and references.
Font and Line Spacing:
Please use Times Roman or similar font, 12 pt for text, 16 pt for title, and 10 pt for figure legends and references. Line spacing should be single.
Figures:
You are encouraged to enclose at least one figure but not more than 3 figures. Color figures will be published online only. Hardcopies
will be in black and white and you should check your figures after conversion to grey scale.
References:
Please follow in style the instructions for Plant Physiology. In text citations should contain last names of the first author followed by et al.
(if more than two) and the year. The bibliography should be in alphabetical order of first author's last name.
Review:
The submission will be reviewed by the editors and if necessary returned with recommendations regarding content and style. It will be the author's
responsibility to minimize spelling and grammar issues. Once accepted, the article will be published as is.
